I can t seem to figure out how they intended us to use these roofs they don t seem to latch onto much of anything and the little support beams don t seem to connect to anything they don t line up with the wood pillars and they all have notches in them like they re supposed to be pieced together with something else but i can t find anything that goes with them.
Also don t know if a leaky roof affects happiness i know settlers don t like getting rained on.

Plugging a leak is an optional institute side quest.
It s not that noticable in the vanila game but once you add one of those popular weather mods the rain effect is very noticable.
In sanctuary my settlers randomly appear on the roofs there are no stairs or anything they just appear on top of the roofs with no way up there and they dont move i think i found like 3 settlers and 2 companions on a single roof one time is this happening to anyone else.
I don t know if the rain occlusion is ignoring glass roofing but i do know some glass roofing has gaps and cracks in it.
I dont want a fix because its hilarious but im just wondering how many people it happens to.
I ve found a way to add flat roof pieces under raised roof pieces not sure if it s a glitch or if we re supposed to double stack roofs to stop rain.
All this mod does is replace the meshes of the roofs in sanctuary from the broken post war roofs to the pre war roofs while still keeping the post war rusted textures.
I know this is pretty insignificant but i just finished a large 4 floor structure.
I been playing around with this idea after i saw this thread try what i did in my screenshot temporary build a 2 floor system on the side of the house and then run roof pieces along the top of it then delete the temporary floor and wall pieces and yes i know all roofs have holes but you won t see raindrops in houses anymore after doing this.
None of the glass roofs stop the rain from falling through.
