Ford edge glass roof cracked.

Trent edge 25 trent edge 25 feet under the table. Average repair cost is 1 340 at 30 600 miles. My 2017 ford edge sport s vista roof front glass has been replaced 2 times in the first 6 months of ownership due to cracking. Just google ford edge roof glass cracked and look at the cases.

The crack cannot be felt on top or underneath so it appears to be in a middle layer of the glass. No exterior chips or damage.

I have had my car approximately 3 months. The 2016 ford edge has 7 problems reported for vista roof glass cracked. Insurance has had to replace twice. I would have thought it would be a manufacturing issue as well as no stone chip or impact can be seen on it.

My glass roof has developed a circular crack from one edge. Ford has denied claim. I had the roof closed and the shade drawn due to the heat. Has anyone had a similar problem.

I called ford today to make an appointment for 8 8. There are no apparent stone chips or marks indicating damage anywhere on its travel. Ford knows they have a problem but refuse to admit it. After a few days when i opened the shade the roof was cracked in a pattern that started near the front of the window and then worked its way back for about 12 inches headed right another 12 inches then back to the front of the window.

I also have a 2015 edge sport.
