Ford focus 2006 problem was reported in livonia mi. The rear passenger door does not lock on our 2006 ford focus zx4. Vehicle was not using anti lock brakes. It opens and closes correctly.

I can lean against the door and hold it shut and pree the remote lock on my key and the alarm sets and al the doors loc except this one you can walk up to the door and just open t. Ford territory 2007 ts thanks. Vehicle had 4 cylinders. How to fix the issue with the door not wanting to lock. It just won t lock even with child.

It will not engage and lock the door. Fix was very simple. A light tap with a hammer using a socket extension on the three bolts that hold the lock actuator in place on the end of the door. Is there anyway i can override the sensor so i can secure the car before i get to the dealer.
